The Mikey Network

Formed in 2003 by The Heron Group of companies and Heathwood Homes , the Mikey Network is working to create public awareness and provide education about heart-healthy lifestyles. Currently they are committed to placing "Mikeys" (public access defibrillators) in as many high-risk locations as possible so people affected by sudden cardiac arrest might have a second chance at life.

Rosalie Hall is a Young Parent Resource Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Through the Misericordia Sisters, Rosalie Hall assists young parents in need and their children in leading healthy, meaningful, productive lives. This organization provides a range of community, residential, educational and child development services.

Camp Oochigeas

Established in 1984, Camp Oochigeas is Canada's first residential camp for children who have cancer. The camp is located on 400 scenic acres with a private lake in the Muskoka area near Parry Sound. Here, children enjoy an active outdoor experience in a supportive, caring environment.

Gilda's Club

Named in honour of comedian Gilda Radner, Gilda's Club is a nonprofit organization that provides meeting places where people who are living with cancer, and their families and friends can meet free of charge to share emotional and social support. There is a Gilda's Club in Toronto.
